Airtel too rolls out 1 second billing not so attractive plan
Yes! Airtel too has launched pay per second tariff plan this was what all Airtel customer were waiting from long time since the launching of Tata Docomo One sec pulse and Bsnl one sec pulse. Perhaps Airtels plan is little better than what BSNL is providing.

To activate Airtel Freedom Plan one has to recharge their mobile with the special e recharge. In Maharashtra, Exisiting customer can recharge with Rs 64 where as newbie to Airtel has to recharge with Rs 69. Airtel Freedom Plan provides you one year validity along with all Local calls and STD calls from Airtel to Airtel at Rs 0.01 i.e., 1ps/sec and all other network STD and Local calls at 1.20 ps/sec. Where as Roaming charges will continue at current tariffs and 60 sec pulse.
Though this plan seems good but I feel Tata Docomo and Aircel have upper edge on it but still I am also looking forward for these plans and will activate soon. These plans are available all over India including major states like Tamil Nadu , Kerala ,Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh

It’s not really worth it. I pay a lot less per minute and a 1 sec plan means 60p a min
@Ajay, I think you are talking about Airtel Friends. Yes, those plans cant be compared with anything either pay per sec or other operator. But airtel 1ps call are for Lifetime n std caller. I guess they will enjoy it.
I am associated with call center industry and i know the Difference between 60 sec pulse and 1 sec pulse which is roughly 15% – 20% lesser revenue depending on Call Habits – By offering a 60 Paisey Per Minute plan and a 1.2 Paisey per Sec Plan – Airtel is actually not offering any reduction and remember in network 1 Paisey per Sec (Airtel to Airtel) Actually costs Airtel nothing. So this Airtel Company has become so big as it takes its consumers for total fools.
all network had launch 1paise billing to any network eg idea vodafone docomo, except airtel why……………? airtel to airtel its 1ps but others its 1.2ps why….?
That’s the deal with Airtel. Also, you need to pay 64Rs/yr and still 1.2 paise! I am not much satisfied with it.
