Airtel introduces new GPRS plans
Airtel is one of the most popular telecommunication company of India. GPRS facility is commonly used by most users for a price of Rs.25/day. New plans are now introduced by Airtel according to need.
To the relief of the users who needs daily access to GPRS but find Rs.25 per day too expensive for unlimited. If you do not need unlimited download then you can have limited GPRS facility at lower rentals. New plans of GPRS are as Follows :
- Daily Rental of Rs. 20 which includes 8MB free.
- Daily Rental of Rs. 10 with 3MB free.
- Zero Rental plan (Old) which costs 30 Paise / 50 KB download.
If your download limit exceeds than stated in Plan 1 & 2 then you will be charged 30Paise/50KB.
Its really a good news who want to stay connected to Internet but don’t download much on daily basis. These plans have been with effect from 07 July 2009 in Maharashtra and Goa Circle.

I want to actiavte the airtel ‘easy mail plan(rs 199′)’ on my phone.
Can anyone who is already using the service give the pros and cons if i apply for the ‘easy mail plan’.
i will only need to check mail from phone. So there will be no downloads.
Any inputs are much appreciated.
