There is a boom of Windows 7 everywhere, Microsoft too have extended the date of giving Beta version till 10th February from 26th January. If you too have installed 1st beta version of Windows Seven, you will surely need a good Antivirus program to protect your data from security threats.
Microsoft however, have given the list of compatible antivirus programs for Windows 7 but alongside we will cover some more programs which when tested shown compatibility and worked fine.
On Windowsteam blog, there are three names suggested :
- Norton 360 version 3.0 from Symentec.
- AVG Internet Security and AVG Anti-Virus both works well.
- Kaspersky released Anti-Virus for Windows 7 exclusively.
Some more in the list which are checked by the users worldwide and got good experiences with it are as follows:
- Avira AntiVir personal edition.
- Avast v4.8.1282 with working update feature.
- ESET Smart Security version 3.0.672 to 4 beta works fine.
- NOD32 4.0 Beta (simply the best)
- Bitdefender 2009
