Batch File upload on Google docs with Batch Upload

Google Docs, the Google office suite, probably has a weak point of Batch uploading. Those who use knows that how frustrating it is to upload files one by one. So, Bulk upload of files is essential on Google Docs.

Luckily there is a new utility called Batch Upload to Google Docs can help us to work much faster. Based on Java, this application runs from the command line and allows us to batch upload files to Google Docs.

Use options are varied and very well explained on their website, but basically it would be through with the command java-jar google-docs-upload-1.0.jar <path> – recursive. Then enter our data need to login to Google, and start the process.

Google Docs Batch Upload is compatible with all types of files from txt to doc, via csv, html, ods, odt, pdf, png, ppt, rtf, swf, txt, xls and zip. Furthermore, although it’s almost redundant to say, the fact of being based on Java (JRE 1.6 or higher) allows you to use this freeware application in Linux, Mac OS X or Windows.
