BlackBerry Curve 8520 is out now
Finally, BlackBerry Curve 8520 is official after being one of the oft-leaked BlackBerry. It’s no more a rumour and RIM has announced Blackberry Curve 8520 officially.
It is a BlackBerry model that aims to be one of the best-selling new Curve, how? Technical rather low at a reduced price with all the BlackBerry services. It is rather an attempt to conquer the market for low-end smartphones. It has EDGE connectivity, WiFi and 2 megapixel camera. These simple features will add the push mail service and QWERTY keyboard, we have an interesting smartphone. Apart from these, the phone comes with video recording, and a large 1,150mAh battery rated for 4.5 hours of talk time. RIM eliminates the famous ball to navigate the menus, instead using the new touch trackpad.

In the UK, Vodafone UK subscribers should be able to get the 8520 at no charge provided they take on a contract with a monthly tariff of £25 (about 41$) or more (considerably cheaper than the average BlackBerry plan) while in the USA T-Mobile clients will have to wait a bit longer to find out just how much it is that they’ll be asked to pay.
