BSNL WLL Internet Phone Review
Now a days BSNL has acquired a large market in India as ISP( Internet service provider) whether we talk about broadband or about BSNL’s recently launched WLL (Wireless Local Loop) network.
BSNL WLL is CDMA network which is available nearly in all states and cities. BSNL has decided to distribute WLL phones instead of little expensive wired connections. The most exciting feature of WLL is that it provides unlimited internet connection with paying just 250 Rs per month !
For the people who just wants to surf, chat and stay connected via social networks on web, WLL act like ace. It comes with good and reliable actcual speed of 14-22 kbps (Note : that bandwidth is different) As a wireless connection speed matters on coverage area and little bit on weather condition as well.
Here I am giving You details of BSNL WLL CDMA plan
Security Deposits: 500 Rs (if Local plan chosen)
1000 Rs(If Local + STD plan chosen )
One time installation charge: 500 Rs (For first time only)
Fixed Monthly charges : 75 Rs (minimum) No outgoing only incoming
120 Rs -> Incoming + 50 calls free
So, that means if you chosen Local plan along with 75 Rs incoming(Known as Bsnl WLL sulabh plan). Then You just have to pay 325 Rs per month for Unlimited Internet access which includes unlimited downloading.
WLL connection can be yours within 10 days of application. But as a Dial Up connection User may face few problems which can be avoided by means of simple tricks.
Troubleshooting WLL internet connection
When your Dial Up connection is showing Error:692 ,Error:777 or Error:678 just redial it. If it did not work try to restart WLL set by resetting black switch at back of modem set. Still if you have problem Restart your computer and also restart WLL set. Finally if your problem is not over , try to Restore your PC by following procedure:
Click on Start -> Go to All Programs -> Click on Accessories -> Go to System Tools -> Click on System Restore and press next. Here you have to choose earlier date for restoring on which you worked successfully with WLL.

Hi Chittibabu, Its sad to hear that your BSNL WLL connection is getting interrupted after evey 1 MB. This problem was also with me but that was temporary from BSNL. Hope this will be the case with you.If not, then you try all methods mentioned above under Troubleshooting with WLL
I’m using CT 800P model WLL ..for the first 2 months i used to get 16-17kb/s….
now it has been reduced to 6-9kb/s…what to do??pls tellllll
also im usin an external antenna,so tat the signal strength is not a problem..

its simple if u have using xp,insert the disk provided n connect the phone using usb cable then go to control panel n select add new devices n complete the steps …..then crate a new dial up connection from network tab in control panel,
username:ur phone no with std code without 0
password:last 4 digits of ur phone no

its very difficult,i am using puppy linux and fedora 8 but the wll modem cannot detected by both os if have solutions i post it here…………
Is there any additional charge for downloading..or just 250 only…
I am using BSNL CT800P WLL internet & it give only 10-13kb/s download speed & it disconnects after only 5-6 minutes please help me.

Hello friends, corrently I am using it in Windows Xp but few days back i have upgrated my system with Windows7 . now when i am trying to connect to the network it showing an error like Modom is mot founded. even the drivers CD which I got with the modem dos’t contain the drivers for Windows7. please help me out how to connect to the network using it in windows7 platform

i got same problem with windows 7,but don’t get upset
1st insert the cd-rom provided by bsnl
then connect the phone using usb cable
then go to device manager in control panel
n go to com ports,right clic and update software
n select browse from my computer and type the drive,disk inserted eg:G:\
n select driver for vista from cd
repeat same procces fwp interface(browse from cd)

I USE BSNL WLL NET LAST 2 MOTHS,I GOT DOWNLOADING SPEED 40+KBPS WHEN USING TORRENT OTHERWISE AN AVERAGE OF 30 TO 40.IT JUST AMAZING COMPARING WITH BROADBAND…….
I think you are most luckiest WLL customer, yesterday I closed my WLL connection n finally opted for BB. By the way can you please tell your location and how far it is from the exchange?

i have bsnl wll Modem ct800p i have my username and password also but when i tried to connect with net by dial up connection when it prompt verifying username and password then my telephone said call ended so plz tell me this reason early ii am not recharged my wll with 250rs. is it important i wanna only check this that it will be connect or not

Hellooo friends Be careful !!!! When u r buying BSNL WLL modem PLZ buy only LG’s modem.dont buy another company’s modem bcos there is many problems in other modems thnkyou

hi i have ct800p bsnl wll, its postpaid, recently i opened my set and it has a slot for putting in a sim card. so my question, is it possible to use different sim on bsnl wll. can we like crack it somehow.please reply.
