Email has become an inseparable part of our daily life. I use to send lot of emails regularly, to my friends, to my relatives or to my co-workers. And, if you are a fresher, waiting to start your career, you should be well acquainted with its immense importance. Sometimes, we accidentally click the “Send” button and realize that we were supposed to add or attach something important with the email. This is a very common experience with most of us.

But, if you use Gmail, there is an excellent solution of this problem. Gmail has a useful Labs feature, Undo Send that lets you unsend an email you have just sent. Immediately after sending a message, an “Undo” link appears at the top of your window.

Undo Immediately After Sending A Message

By default, the time is 5 seconds within which you can unsend your message. But recently, Google has extended this time limit up to 30 seconds. First, go to Settings of your account and enable “Undo Send” feature. Save the changes.

Enable Undo Send Feature from the Gmail Labs Settings

Now go to the “General” tab under “Settings” and select your preferred cancellation period. Save the changes once more.

Select Your Preferred Cancellation Period of Sent Mail

After undoing a sent message, it gets saved in your “Drafts” folder. Make the corrections and resend it.

Now, you will never commit such a mistake like before!
