firefox-35Mozilla has decided to change the nomenclature of the next version of their browser to be Firefox 3.5, skip several intermediate from the current 3.0.7 or recently released Firefox 3.1 beta. This is because the large number of improvements that will not justify to be called only 3.1 final. There will be one more beta release before final version.

Major release 3.0 had the main attraction of private mode feature and Firefox 3.5 will also be loaded with lots of improvements and new features like improved JavaScript engine (it seems that this is the fashion of promise these days), new features to protect users’ privacy, increased compatibility with web standards and very interesting improvements to the management of the tabs. And finally a plan to integrate direct access method or home page, the style of what already has been operating for years on Chrome. This improvement was seen in Google Toolbar 5 addon too.

The system will be somewhat different from other browsers and have two distinct parts. The right side will provide thumbnails of most visited pages, allowing access to them by clicking with the mouse, and provide more information about them without having to open them.

To experience that Tabbed browsing environment in your existing Firefox version then download New Tab addon
