News is rolling in of Google launching it’s own browser, called Google Chrome. Google has chosen a cool way to announce the project: through a comic book. It is little things like this that endears Google as a brand to so many of us – solid science delivered in a user-friendly way.
At a time when it seemed that the Firefox 3.0 was conquering the world comes Google to add seeds of doubt in the land of browsers.
Since announcing last few days developments:
– Open source, using the rendering engine of Safari (WebKit) with Google Gears included.
– Java Virtual Machine (V8) planned to accelerate the implementation of javascript in the browser.
– Navigation Tabs at the top of the navigation bar.
– Ability to navigate without a trace (so private)
– List of hazardous sites are constantly updated.
– Ability to open applications such as web applications, without navigation bar or tabs.
