Nexus 1 hardware has been made in corporation with HTC and whole user experience is designed by Google. Google will use full VOIP service which means that no voice/sms plans needed at any carrier and voice calls will go through Google Voice on Data SIM cards and will provide unlimited free voice calling. As such there is no official news regarding price of Google phone but Internet rumor about expected price is around 200$ which means around Rs 9200.

Nexus 1 is set to release on 5th of January 2010, currently Google has asked their employees to test these products for quick feedback and suggestions for improvements
If its price is between 12k to 16k, then it will prove tough competition in its category
ohh come on. that prize of 200$ is that of a locked version with T-mobile. unlocked version costs 530$ which is around Rs25,000 in india.. No idea wether that would be the actual price in india bt if so….. It would be just Grrrr8…
The actual price in India is Rs. 26,000/- . Scheduled launch delayed . It will now be launched in February 2010. Not sure of the date though

It is not that every Google Product becomes a hit Personally, I don’t think it will gain much popularity in India. People will be reluctant to use Android OS and price is also too high to accept.

It is not yet launched in India. Just available in 3 countries and only online purchasing option is there.
