Micromax GC 400: 3MP Camera Dual SIM (GSM+CDMA) Mobile at Rs. 4500
Micromax GC400 is a just another dual SIM (GSM + CDMA) handset that comes with impressive 3MP camera, music player, FM Radio, Bluetooth and GPRS. The price of this handset is close to Rs. 4500.
GC400 has a bar form factor, weighs 103 grams and bears a dimension of 115.1 x 50.6 x 14.7 mm. The phone has separate keys for operating each of the SIM`s. As you can see in the picture, it has a one touch music key and a camera key as well.
The 3MP camera comes with an option of digital zoom and video recording. The handset has a multi format music player capable of playing MP3, AMR, MIDI and WAV files. For videos, it can play AVI, 3GP and MP4 files.
GC400 comes packed with some games, playing which can be fun as the phone also comes with a motion sensor.
For connectivity purposes, it supports GPRS and WAP. It also has Bluetooth and USB support to facilitate your data transfer operations.
The phone`s expandable memory limit is only up to 2GB. With good camera and multimedia offering, we expected the phone to at least support up to 4GB.
Micromax GC400 comes with a 1000 mAh battery that can provide talk time up to 6 hours and standby time up to 200 hours.
My verdict
Micromax GC400 is a nice offering if we see its camera and multimedia capabilities. Anybody who desires to purchase a 3MP camera within the range of Rs. 4500 can definitely think GC400 as one of its option.

Battery backup is not good.
Display is not good.
Camera quality is poor.
Not worth of the price.

GC400 is not good. Battery is very poor and it restarts automatically more frequently.

i also like this mobile..i also want to buy this cell…it looks good…
bought this phone…
it has good sound with a dedicated music key…quite loud too.
the dual sim feature works fine – gsm + cdma.
the display is very ordinary.
worst part of this phone is that the keys don’t light up in the dark.
it has a fully plastic look and feel – not at all classy.
the camera is worse than lousy.
however, for the price, i could not find a cdma + gsm phone.
also, it has some features not found in other phones, like timed startup and shutdown, and multiple alarms. these are damn useful to me.
overall, the phone could be MUCH better with minimum work from the makers, but it works for me bec of 1) cdma + gsm 2) good sound 3) organiser features mentioned.
