Micromax W900: Ultimate 3.2″ Touchscreen Windows Mobile Phone at Rs 6800
Micromax has launched an unbelievable Touch screen Windows Mobile 6.1 at a price of Rs 6,800. Dubbed as Micromax W900, the phone comes with a load of features like Wi-Fi, 2MP camera, MP3 Player, Bluetooth and Voice Assisted Navigation. This is the Micromax`s first handset based on Windows and I must say that they have done remarkable job. Its 3.2-inch touchscreen sports an excellent look, somewhat similar to Nokia 5800. Moreover, it comes with handwriting recognition as well.
As mentioned above it is a Windows Mobile and so it is featured with MS office and related goodies. Another unique thing about W900 is its MapMyIndia application, which shows you maps of various Indian cities.

My Verdict
Micromax W900 is certainly one of those phones that I am waiting for. This touchscreen phone offers a multitude of features like Wi-Fi, Camera, MP3 player in a very affordable price of Rs 6800. The phone also does not disappoint me as far as its looks are concerned. W900 definitely seems to be a good bargain. If you want a good touchscreen phone at an affordable price, then here is a nice opportunity for you.

It is not a copy of Nokia 5800. It is windows OS which is good, while nokia symbian is hopeless. Ovi maps is outdated while google maps shines.

Micro max w900 is an overall good package which worth Rs. 7000/- only. It is a touch screen, Window OS 6.1, smart Wi-Fi, Blue tooth, GPS, GPRS, Quad band, FM, Video player, Ms office, 2MP camera, Call & contact unlimited, 2GB flash card, 113 gram weight, e-book reader, RAM & ROM 256+128, expandable memory up to 16 GB, Hand writing function & good battery capacity. Definitely, it is worth value of Rs. 7000/-.
is this mobile having flash light,GPS.& camra in actually 2.0 mpix. i think this is totally money wastage. the phone is made by china.
There are lots of things made in China, including Chinese food,
. But you have to decide about your requirements. No flashlight, GPS Yes and a good one. Camera 2MP without flash…..this phone is not meant to click photos and entertainment. It is windows mobile
What about 3G & GPS ?
no 3G, but the GPS is phenomenal. at this price ofcourse. In a moving vehicle, it can easily catch the satellites. Now the only problem is that with GPS, GPRS on at the same time, it is a huge drain on the battery. Battery lasts only for say 15-20 minutes. But that is expected, Keep a charger handy. I have it permanently connected to the car charger when on the move.

no 3g and its not dual sim only single sim. great batter back up that i have ever seen. we can install youtube.cab player and we can get number of variety softwares from net and easily install it. no problem about application softwares we will easily get from inter net.
