Micromax, India’s third largest mobile phone vendor has launched a Dual SIM Remote Control handset- the Micromax X235. So you can command your TV, AC or DVD players with X235. The phone comes with an infrared transceiver, which sends signals to the electronic equipments, and helps you control them. This amazing make of Micromax is available at price of Rs 4,500 in India.

Apart from the remote control feature, the phone also boasts of a Camera, Music player, video player and FM radio. The X235 is a Dual SIM – like most other handsets from Micromax.

Apart from remote-control feature, the phone also comes with multi-format Music player (capable of playing MP3/AMR/MIDI/WAV files). X235 has a 2-inch display and possesses a 5-way navigation key. The handset is powered by Li-ion 1050 mAh battery, which provides you 5 hours of talk-time and around 250 hours of standby time. The handset also offers decent connectivity options, including the services of Bluetooth, GPRS, WAP and MMS.

My Verdict

Micromax, in the last two years has gained a lot of popularity. Most of the Micromax offerings are dual SIM and come at affordable prices. So is, the Micromax X235. A very affordable handset with unique Remote control feature, efficient Music player with decent offerings in other fields as well.

    I bought this phone yesterday for Rs/- 2950 From univercell Bangalore.Look decent.Basic Phone. Not USB cable in the box.Need to find and buy one. Remote is working fine. Checked with A/c and T/V

    mobile is very nice.But there is no option to set silent while ringing.

    U can make it silent.
    1. In a silent place start the voice recorder for a minute.
    2. Save this recording and set it as ring tone.
    3. Select any profile u want to make silent and customize it set this silent recording as ringtone.
