When Microsoft decided to discontinue it’s antivirus names Live One care, then there were rumors about another antivirus program to be released by Microsoft under Free License.

We recently posted a list of best free Antivirus programs but if you are still busy looking for free anti-virus, anti-malware or anti-spyware security protection product. For you, Microsoft has announced plan to offer a no-cost consumer security offering to “address the growing need for a PC security solution tailored to the demands of emerging markets, smaller PC form factors and rapid increases in the incidence of malware”.

In a recent news published on NeoWin confirms that it will no more be called as Morro instead it will be named as Microsoft Security Essentials. Security essentials is likely to be targeted as a basic form of Anti-Virus and not as a “suite” like rival Anti-Virus companies such as Symantec and McAfee offer. An installer of the new build leaked on torrent networks and we have included a couple of screen shots below.
