Nikon Coolpix S1000pj: The first camera with projector

The rumors of Nikon CoolPix S1000pj to have projector seem to be reaffirmed as it’s announced officially. This camera would be the first in the world to integrate projector.


The Nikon CoolPix S1000pj may have a lens on your flash, this would be the projector lens, which would be capable of displaying images up to 40 inches with sharpness thanks to a system of LED backlighting. It has a 12.1 megapixel sensor with ISO 6400 sensitivity mounted behind a 5x wide-angle zoom lens with five-way VR stabilization, and that LED-powered projector that’ll put up a 40-inch image for slideshows complete with music, effects and transitions.coolpix-s1000pj
In addition, this camera came with a remote control to control the projector and the shutter of the camera, something that never comes in a compact evil, but not entirely necessary. Moreover, the CoolPix is said to have video editing functions.

Its price, be around USD $ 699 and expected to hit markets in September 2009.
