Nokia 5250: 2.8 inch Full Touchscreen Symbian Device Official Specs
If you remember recently I mentioned about Nokia 5250, where it was mentioned that the 2.9 inch phone may become the cheapest Symbian handset ever. Well, the complete specifications are out now and the price of the phone will be close to Rs. 7000.
Firstly, the screen size of the handset is 2.8 inches, a bit smaller than what was initially predicted. Regarding the OS, the phone will run on Symbian^1. It is basically a music centric device with a support for Ovi Music. You can effortlessly download music from there. The phone also may fascinate you if you are social networking enthusiastic. Nokia 5250 provides easy access to Facebook, MySpace from the homescreen itself.
The phone has a 2 MP camera and an inbuilt photo editor to enhance your images. Regarding connectivity options, the phone supports Bluetooth, 3.5 mm audio jack and high speed USB 2.0. As predicted earlier, the phone does not have a support for WiFi and 3G.
In case of memory options, the phone comes with 51 MB of internal memory and an expandable memory option up to 16GB.
As per Nokia, the phone can offer up to 462 minutes of talk time, 450 hours of standby time and approximately 24 hours of music playback time.
My Verdict
Nokia 5250 seems to be an excellent bargain for especially those who are music –centric and social networking addict. The phone looks awesome and the price too seems decent.
