Nokia 5800 Firmware update v40.0.005 Details and Download
This is not just another Service update but you can expect an overall change in User Interface. Comes with the features you all were waiting for like Kinetic Scrolling and Widgetized Homescreen with Music and Contact widgets. Looks very much like smartphones (5530 and latest Nokia X6) Let’s move on to know what more is in.
Apart from Kinetic Scroll and Homescreen widgets, the look and feel is good with attractive UI and has some enhanced graphics whenever there is an incoming call. It has the mini-qwerty in portrait mode and beocmes full-screen QWERTY when you rotate horizontally.
Software updates: Improved stability, installed with Ovi contacts and updated Real Player.
Functional Changes: Touch has been made more responsive and you can Slide to Unlock during call. Refresh Icons “Sharing Online”, “Configuring Accessories”, “Configure Phone”
Addition: In the settings menu there is a new icon for ‘Phone Switch’ and The application “Data transfer” was also implemented in “Settings”.

Nokia 5800 v40 Firmware update is like Lottery system. It is very uncertain and we cannot tell that when will your handset get the update. So, I will recommend you to keep checking after a fixed interval and you will get it.
