Facebook is often used to share photographs; I agree that it is a nice tool to share with friends but also a dangerous weapon. Something you uploaded could also go against you.

Can you imagine your parents/relatives seeing awkward photographs of your action that night? It should go on Facebook only and Fortunately, Facebook has privacy feature to share with specific people.

3. Ask Friend To Water Your Garden

Surely, you cannot beg your friend to lend carrots for your rabbit. Unless you have a farm of your own in real world, explaining it to the world that your crop is going wrong is a bit weird.

At sometime, you may have to ask your friend to help cleaning out dishes or take out cake out of oven but they are your friends and not slaves in real life.

4. Saying Your Boss / Teacher is an idiot

It is normal to think that and sometime inevitable but telling it your friend in private is recommended. In real life, however, you won’t go screaming and writing on walls about it. What if? In any case, criticizing others will only bring problems, whether you do it in the relative privacy of social networking, as in real life.

5. Become a Fan of Bullshit

On Facebook, there are pages for anything you can imagine and it is completely acceptable to LIKE it there itself. However, in real life, saying you are fan of some non sense thing then it just doesn’t suits.

6. Sending Birthday Greeting to Unknown

There are people I know, friends, colleagues, family… and then there are Facebook friends. You should wish close friends on their Birthday in real life as well as on Facebook. But, Imagine, if you called by phone to a friend of a friend you’ve never spoken and greet him on his birthday. At the very least, there would be an awkward silence.

7. Give Personal Information to People You Barely Know

Facebook is designed so that it is almost fun to fill it with tons of personal information. Interests, hobbies, age, personal photos, work, address, phone number, etc.

Would you give all this information to a complete stranger? So why share on Facebook, where anyone can see them?

8. Express Feelings

Among Facebook Updates, What I find in excessive prominence is expressions like: Life is sad and dark, everything is wonderful, I hate the universe, I love this person dearly and attached 300 pictures to prove it. In real life, you should not be so eloquent because it would be unbearable for people around you.

9. Lie

You may lie outside of Facebook, but on networks is always much easier. If it is not ethical to do so in person, hiding behind the distance is even less desirable. Of course, to believing a liar is another possible risk. Check out the most usual lies on Facebook.

10. Saying LIKE on Every Stupid Thing

Friend uploads picture of his holidays and you LIKE to express! He continues to upload more and more of it and you continue to hit Like. But saying “I Like” on each and everything your friends says or show in real life; Would you Feel Normal?

To say that something you like is as easy as clicking a button, and lacks much significance. In the network, I like is often synonymous with “I’ve read but I can not think of anything to write home about”. In real life, however, it has rather more literal meaning.

Conclusion

I have compiled 10 things, but the list goes on. Facebook and other social networks serve to socialize, but the equivalence is not exact as you would in real life. Being behind a computer and not face to face changes the way we communicate. Are you really smiling every time you put a smiley face? So you laugh aloud when you type LOL or lol in a chat? Most likely not. Each medium has its own language, in another context, is meaningless.

2001 A Space Odyssey

Minority Report

Directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Cruise, the production of ” Minority Report “released in 2002, it presented the world with dozens of new ideas and technologies that could become reality by the year 2054, period in which the story takes place based on a story of writer Philip K. Dick.

Demolition Man accompanies the story of the policeman John Spartan (Sylvester Stallone). After being tricked by the villain Simon Phoenix (Wesley Snipes), Spartan is sentenced to a prison in cryogenics. There goes 36 years until it is thawed and returned to action in the fight against crime. The city of Los Angeles, however, is completely different. The crime was eradicated, customs changed and the control over the population seems to be for all parties.

To make this possible, a large system is created, controlling all the movements of citizens. Cameras everywhere, personal identification by the iris, vehicles with cruise control, autopilot and video conferencing are some of the inventions held by a great system.

Most Amazing Computers of Future that can exist only in Movies

Addons, even though marked as incompatible actually work fine without any issue most of the time but for some reason Firefox doesn’t allow it. I, anyhow wanted Tab Utilities and Google Toolbar to work on Firefox 5 so, here I share my successful attempt to run incompatible addons on Firefox 5.

Download Addon Compatibility Reporter and restart Firefox to enable it. This extension was made to report Mozilla whether extensions are working without any issues with upcoming releases. For that, it lets you enable those incompatible addons on Firefox 5.

Go to Addons, you will see that some addons have Green Check mark on them and are ready to be enabled after restart.

If you want some other Addon apart from existing, it also allows to install incompatible addons on Firefox 5.

After restarting, there may be some issues with some addon like they are not working properly with new version of Firefox. In this case, I recommend contributing to Mozilla by reporting compatibility issues.

This is how any old or incompatible addon can be forced to be enabled on Firefox 5. Most of the addons do work properly on newer version so you don’t have to worry about instability but in case of one or two, it can happen.

How to Generate Fake Facebook Conversation?

Fake Convos is a Web service is infact an interesting webware which generates Fake conversation on Facebook with same design and interface as real as facebook.

This includes same font and disply style of facebook with real Display Picture of user on Facebook. To make it look more real, Fake Convo adds some extras like ” 23 Hours ago via Facebook for Android ” with “7 Likes”

To begin with, Enter the Name of Commentor on left side followed by Image URL which can be obtained from Facebook itself. Fake Convo provides some set of Image or you can grab from facebook friend list by allowing Facebook Convo to access your account.

You can decide how much you’d like to spend for your marketing campaign. This is very impressive if you are an advertiser, but if you are an average user, these adverts are irritating. Every time you visit a FB page, in the sidebar there are about 5 ad blocks with a “Like” button under every one.

Privacy problems

Now there are loads of privacy options. But would you really trust a business orientated company? Maybe yes, maybe no. It’s your decision.

There are better social networking sites

Frankly I think Twitter is better. Of course there are limitations there as well. You can’t tweet a message more than 140 characters. But it is a great way to reach a targeted audience. Also Hi5 and LinkedIn are good if you want to get awesome results for your business or your blog.

Every time I would like to view a page that interests me, it tells me, you have to Like to view all content. This is a quite simple marketing tactic. Getting users to register, to get access to anything. But what if I wouldn’t like to sign up? What if I don’t want to give information about myself?

I’m sick of the Facebook orientated world

“I will go to play football on Saturday. Can you come? Write to me on Facebook if you’re coming.“
“Can you give me the Maths homework on Facebook?”
“I will give you the link of my website on Facebook!”
Why do we need this website? OK; it’s good and nice, but that’s it. Everything is that’s it…

So if I would like to summarize this social network, I would say today it is good but tomorrow it will end up like MySpace, forgotten.
