This is chetan. I m new to this blog but find it very useful. My pc is very much infected because of viruses, etc. I have installed Quick Heal Total Security 2009(version 10). we kan install quick heal from two websites.
1. one from indian website of quick heal (which doesnt have quick heal regirtration option).
2.from original new-zealand website (which have quick heal regirtration option).

u have always disable the firewall when you work on internet ……………when u not use internet then on firewall setting
@Aditya, Aditya, I recommend reinstalling firewall or check for the settings saved in it which might be causing obstruction in using Internet. What’s the use of Firewall if you are disabling it?
pls on ur firewall because it protect to your pc from accesing to other when ur on line it mean firewall can pritect to hack ur pc.

@Kiran, You can always download offline updates and then extract it to update your database.
Offline update definitions are available on Quick heal homepage and you can always refer http://blogsolute.com/2008/12/quick-heal-total-security-definition-download-link.html to download it directly bypassing serial number.

The fact is now every quick heal s/w comes with a different licsence key 4 every user, which is generated automtically and the key for it can only be accessed from the quick heal prescribed office aur registered locations. And mind you, that will not be free. Nothing comes for free dear. So, just go home, take ur meal and have a nice sleep.
@Big Daddy, I agree that every copy of Quick heal comes with different number but do you know it all depends upon Machine ID or Installation number of your product (which varies from PC to PC) You can use use one serial number again and again using reactivate option. It’s just a matter of getting a right serial number for your product and REG.KEY will be generated by Quick Heal itself.
