RSS feed viewer for Google Chrome
Google Chrome is the fastest rising Web browser, adopted by many users and becoming first choice of geeks because of its speed and simplicity to explore deep in this web world. There were many upgrades in Chrome even when it’s out of 1.0 beta version. Google chrome still lacks native RSS feed reader but this will not be a problem after reading out this post.
Google seems to have assumed that everyone would use its standalone web-based Reader offering instead. Now, however, developer Ricardo Ferreira has written a script that conveniently sits behind a bookmark in the Bookmarks bar and allows users to read RSS feeds directly.

To use the service, head to feeds.ramisp.org in your Chrome browser, then drag the “Auto-Detect RSS” bookmark onto your bookmarks bar (if you don’t see a bar, activate it with Control+B). You can also grab a “View RSS Feed” if you want to see a site’s feed in your browser. At the top of the page, you’ll also see a range of options where you can subscribe to the feed using Yahoo!, Google, Pageflakes or Netvibes.

How can Google not know that Google reader is the worst Web App on the web? All it is good for a is people using library, internet cafe, and school computers.
I prefer Live Feeds in Firefox’s Bookmarks Toolbar. I can speedily scan through all of the headers.
Well it was exactly what I was looking for. I just switched to google chrome and found the add ons extremely useful, but could not find any add on for feeds. This one works well though it is annoying that it takes up room in the bookmark bar. Still great add on thanks for sharing it.
