To keep up with the tough telecom competition Vodafone has announced its own application store. This has been done after the launch of Airtel’s App store few months ago. This has been done in partnership with Arvato Mobile. Most of the applications in the store are targeted for people having basic handsets.
This service can be availed by vodafone users with internet connectivity in their handsets. There are more than 800 apps and 15% of them are free to use, others costs ranging from RS 5- 30. To avail this service vodafone customers have to type APP and send it to toll free number 111 or this can be also done from Vodafone Portal.
The applications in the store are categorized into various categories like Newest applications, Top applications and Just for you applications.
