windows 7 7048 logoRecently, we posted about the features of the latest build which can be removed of turned off from Windows 7. Again, in every build- Microsoft has something to say about improvements in the OS. There are lots of customization options in the Windows 7 build 7048. This build feels to be more stable for normal computing tasks and now let’s see changes one by one.

First, it includes a complete set of beautiful wallpapers (much better than being in public beta). It also incorporates over 10 items of sound, because it was strange that in the “Styles” of Windows 7 have an option to associate a sound, and only include one (and also impossible to download audio topics additional).

Also remember that Windows 7 will come with regional themes specially designed for each country in which incorporated wallpapers showing the natural wonders of each country. In this build, the number of countries have a very significantly increased. In addition, we have new icons for basic Windows applications (WordPad, calculator, DVD Maker, etc). I personally do not like me because it leaves the style “realistic” they had in view, to re-appear icons “drawn” as in Windows XP (but high resolution). Finally, it has removed the link “Send Feedback” which until now had all the windows, mainly because at this stage, the feedback from users and not as primary (though still necessary).

And if someone who has the Beta of Windows 7 is too impatient to try this build, you can download for a torrent and then, when it is installed, use the upgrade mode to conserve all its current options. Though, I do not recommend this because the Upgrade mode in Windows 7 is not entirely polished, and generally tends to cause performance problems later.

Update : Here, the latest build is referred to build 7048 while Windows 7 build 7057 x86 is already leaked on torrent networks and available for free download.

Update 2 : Windows 7 RTM Final Download Link 7600.16385 DVD ISO is now available
