Windows 7 & Office 2010 final official release dates

There is a hype for the Final releases of Microsoft Windows 7 RTM and MS Office 2010 final. Alongwith, there is a curiosity about the online and mobile version of Office or Office 2010 and Web Applications Microsoft Mobile 2010.

On the first day of the Worldwide Partner Conference 09, these announcements about official release dates of two main protagonists Windows 7 and Office 2010 were made.

It was rumored that Windows 7 build 7600 is final RTM version but it proved to be incorrect but here is some useful information figured out of the conference and enlisted below.

  • Microsoft Office 2010 Beta 1 leaked already (build 14.0.4302.1000)
  • MS Office 2010 Web Applications will have a free version
  • Programs that are included Web Applications are: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote
  • Office 2010 final to reach the entire world during the first half of next year.
  • Office Web Applications for 2010 will be launched in beta in August
  • Windows 7 final will be available on September 1 for professionals and October 22 for other users.
