Any time a patch was distributed the mocking was unbearable. You know, it has been fashioned to mock about Microsoft. Suddenly, with vista, everyone started wiping the gone XP. XP is light on resources but was, in fact, unsecure and buggy. I had more crashes with XP than will with vista for a life time. Period.
