Some questions:
1. Does this also change the green in the browser icon when downloading stuff?
1.a. If not, do you know how?
2. Do you know how to turn all of the orange another color (e.g. the icon flashing or a new program installed in the start menu)?

I didn’t get any answers so I tried it (x86) and it kind of messed things up. I am now stuck in classic mode. I can click the other aero themes, but the task bar remains in classic mode. Help? Really?

All Progress bars are changed to green including Browser downloading.
Secondly, try restoring back Windows and undo the changes made to rollback to previous color.

I found a system restore that’s not too long ago so I’ll only lose a few hours of customization… but I would like to know why this happened and how I can prevent it. Is your guide outdated?

This may have happened because of your small mistake in following procedure as UxStyle patches your default windows DLL files which are responsible for styling. The guide is not outdated and it should work with every Windows 7 installation.
