Media Player to Play Music in Online Storage Cloud [Google Docs, Dropbox]
We are aware of Media Players which can play Music Files stored on local directory (your Computer Hard Disk) whereas Cloud Storage refers to files stored on multiple virtual servers. These servers can be online storage service like Dropbox, Google Docs, etc.
With easy access of Internet from any place, it is not necessary to carry your music everywhere thanks to Cloud storage. 3-launchpad is a cross-platform Music player which supports playing music stored in cloud. You can call it, Cloud based music player though, It can also play files stored on local drive.
3-launchpad is Adobe AIR based application available for Linux/ Mac / Windows/Android. It can be used as default media player with Music Playlist and Theme support. Application has integrated option to login Google account to get MP3 files stored in Google Docs.
About Dropbox, though it is mentioned on official page but I guess feature is not yet integrated. Though I found dropbox configuration file in installation directory of Windows but option was no where on main interface window [v 0.82]. Even the 3-launcher android app didn’t had dropbox login option but will be soon integrated.
Another feature inbuilt is fetching album art automatically based on Album name mentioned in Music file.
Let me know how did you find this cloud based Music Player and tell us by commenting if you were able to login dropbox.
