Convert Blu-Ray DVD Movies into single MKV File Instantly

If we have at home a lot of movies on DVD or Blu-Ray and we want to protect them from wear, we can create backup copies of converting the contents of the disk in a single MKV video file format.

Matroska Video format (MKV) makes it possible to put entire movie with multiple sound and subtitle tracks, chapters information and movie thumbnail into single file.

Install the program and launch it. Click on the button Browse to the side of the box is Input File and folder navigation to select the document to hide. By clicking on the Browse box at the Input Image to load the photo that will conceal the file: the size ( Size Available ) must be equal to or exceeds what is shown in the box Needed Size (in KB).

We initiate the process by clicking on Make MKV and let’s get comfortable, because it might take half an hour for a DVD (one hour for a Blu-ray). Then click OK .

In the destination folder find the MKV file ripped from the disc ready for playback on PC compatible media and drives.

Site gives a very severe warning from Comodo Firewall

    That’s strange! Well, for me it went smooth on Kapersky Firewall.
    Try it to download from Softpedia mirror.

      Tried as you suggest. Firefox doesn’t like the download site, although it does offer the download if you want to proceed. Didn’t therefore get far enough for Comodo to protest (or not).
