Create simple Flowcharts, Diagrams, illustrations quickly
Being an Engineering student, I always was searching a handy program to draw and design flowcharts, design diagrams for small purpose. I know, many sophisticated softwares are available but complicated and most of the times not free. Diagram Designer can quickly create simple flow charts, illustrations and slideshows.
What I most liked about the program is its simplicity which makes it stand out from other similar programs. The interface of the application is easy one which will not take much time to get used to and definitely not a problem for not-so-geeky people. Simply drag and drop onto the main working area all the elements you’d like to add to your diagram. You can select them from the menu on the right side of the window, which may vary according to the template you’re using – or if you’re just starting from scratch. On the left side of the window the program displays a tree-like structure including all the elements added so far to the diagram.
Diagram Designer has customizable template object palette, slide show viewer and simple graph plotter to plot mathematical expressions and spellchecker, advanced pocket calculator with equation solver. It can import/export WMF, EMF, GIF, BMP, JPEG, PNG, MNG, and PCX images. It’s a Simple vector graphics editor for creating flowcharts, UML class diagrams, illustrations and slide shows.
My Verdict: The diagrams were simple to create and adjust if mistakes were made. It is an easy-to-use tool for basic kinds of diagrams, charts and other schematic designs.
