The best way I’ve found to make use of my Cover Photo is by using an iPhone/iPad app called Cover Photo Maker. It makes it really easy to put up a Cover Photo. You can add text too! Check it out:

Yes Dinesh, Flickr too has a big library of awesome images to be used for FB cover picture. This article however, tries to list dedicated sites which could do that.

Yeah, you aren’t giving out login credentials in most cases and even if you are, it is through FB Connect which is safe. What other risk you are worried of in applying Cover Picture on Timeline?
