Simple settings friend, i am using wifi in Micromax Q7.

step 1: Check whether ur WIFI connection is Activated.

Now this is interesting, i’ve been searching all the www to find it. But i found a simple change by myself.

Step 2: Goto Connectivity>WAP>Settings>Profiles>

Check “WLAN” on both sim1 & sim2 and activate.

Simple isn’t it.

Enjoy wifi now.

hi nitin, i am tarun from hadapsar,pune i followed all your steps but when i try to connect and press on connect it says unable to connect,i have a paired connection named tp-link-259cc2 when i try to connect it it also says unable to connect can u plez help me.
my phone mac address is 70:f3:95:c2:f6:a3 please help me

Connect Micromax Q7 with Broadband Wi-fi (with WEP security key)

To keep your wi-fi network safe from strangers , I will personally recommend you to have the WEP security key to avoid further data usage. Let us assume your BSNL wi-fi network name is ”Blogsolute” and its WEP password is “1234567”

Follow the 2 step as in case of the No security mentioned earlier.

Step 3: Go to -Menu>>Connectivity>>Wi-Fi>>Search for networks>>Blogsolute>connect

The setting page will get opened, here you have to adjust setting as,

1. WEP key setting >> edit
WEP key in use- #1
WEP encryption- 64bits
WEP Format- Hex
WEP key- 123456 (your wi-fi password)
press back

2.Connection name : Blogsolute (It can be anything but don’t edit)

3.SSID : Blogsolute (It can be anything but don’t edit)

4.Network type : Infrastructure

5.Security Mode: Open Network

6. Encryption Mode : WEP

7.TCP/IP setting : Don’t edit

click on Done ,save it & activate the network.

Step 4: Goto -Menu>>Connectivity>>Wi-Fi>>Paired network>>Blogsolute>>connect

Now you will be able to access the Wifi Internet.

This will definitively works///working for me..

Hi i m using micromax q7 .I followed all the steps mentioned by u to connect wifi but the mistakes occured in the wep key and when I go to active network and press the ‘yes’ key it doesn’t reply anything but remain stand.
plz help me….

remove your both the sim and then on your phone,then rest factory setting by entering same passwordwhich u have kept for your phone
