Change Windows 7 Enterprise to Ultimate to Professional or Home Premium

When you are using a pirated copies of Windows 7 Enterprise or Ultimate and now feel to switch to Windows 7 Professional or Home Premium or the copy of Legit Windows 7 DVD you bought. Downgrading OS version requires formatting or installing on different partition but Windows 7 Downgrader tool can change higher edition to lower edition easily.

Windows 7 Enterprise Downgrade (as seen on IntoWindows) is a tiny utility for Windows 7 that allows you to downgrade to Windows 7 Windows 7 Enterprise Home Premium, Ultimate or Professional with a simple click.

Windows 7 Downgrade Tool

1. To change the Windows version installed, launch the program with Administrator privileges. Select the version to which you want to downgrade (the DVD you bought).

2. Insert the Disk and run Setup.exe (Do not boot that Windows 7 Disk)

3. Select first option “Upgrade Installation” and continue the installation procedure as usual. After Restart, you will see that Windows version is changed. You can now activate it using the key you have.

ok I have windows 7 enterprise and i want to downgrade to my genuine windows 7 ultimate with license. I click on downgrade to windows 7 ultimate and nothing happens at all.

going from ultimate to pro. I have the cd in and press downgrade to professional. I see it changes the reg keys however never prompted for license info.

Hi,

I still can’t get this to work.. Trying to downgrade from enterprise to ultimate.
It looks ok in regedit, but after choosing upgrade, it does a compatibility check and comes back with that the versions already installed is newer than the one that i’m trying to install.
Could that be because i have already installed servicepack 1 and the new install haven’t?
