Create animated GIF images from YouTube videos online

Did you like any scene from video clip on youtube and want to save it as GIF image so that you can use it as you avatar, advertising banner or signature in forums. Then now is easy to make it online.

There are two ways for doing so- Search for the video on YouTube, download it and convert the the scenes into GIF images using destop video editing softwares such as ConvexSoft Video, Virtualdub or Photoshop CS3 extended.

If you find the above procedure geeky then, here’s a simple solution to do it online.

Find the video from which you want the scenes to be converted and enter the URL of that video on glickr. Select the output size of image and number of Frames per second (FPS) and you are done with your job. GIF image, made from your favorite video, will be available for download within few seconds.

Gickr is a free service that lets you create GIF animations online from Flickr photos. The good news is that they have extended support for YouTube videos as well.
