How to Pin any File, Folder and Webpages with Custom Icons to Taskbar

Pinning applications in windows 7 is a useful feature that can be used to keep frequently used applications on taskbar. This feature by default can be used on any exe files only but folders, files and webpages cannot be pinned. If you want to pin these for instant access Windows 7 Taskbar Items Pinner will be of great help.

Windows 7 Taskbar Items Pinner is a freeware portable application that will allow you to pin folders, files of any extension and webpages to taskbar. Working with this application is easy, it provides some preset applications like my computer, recycle bin, documents etc that can be pinned directly by checking on respective boxes, pinned applications can be removed easily.

You can add folders and files from the field provided at the bottom with custom icons if you have .ico images. If you do not have icon images then just give any name and number in icon field and add the item. Webpages can be added in the same way by placing full website address in the item field and rest process is same as above. Clicking on the webpage link will directly open that page in your default browser.

My Verdict: This application is very helpful due to its portability, small size and ability to add anything to taskbar and utilizing it fully. If you using several applications frequently and always wanted to pin them then this application is worth giving a try.
