on the Norton Account thing, third image. It does not show, instead, I always get redirected to the Norton account online. And no item on the Products tab. Any help? Thanks!

Yeah that redirects to Norton account page and you HAVE to find Products tab which you get after logging in.

I hope Norton runs better for you guys than it did for me. A few weeks ago I installed Norton 2011 with a 90 day evaluation. All went well for about a week when it stalled during an update – the window showed it was all updated but the button didn’t change to “OK” or whatever it changes to to close. I had to force a system restart and when restarted the “intrustion protection” module was corrupted. I followed the Norton help which was to update until it said no more updated available but still the problem persisted. I then contacted Norton via the program chat option and stated that if fixing the problem involved uninstallation and reinstallation that I’d simply remove Norton and try some other security program. This was ignored and the representative said he could fix it if I allowed him access to my computer. I allowed access and after about 5 minutes of nothing happening – I again asked if the procedure involved uninstalling and reinstallation of Norton. He again ignored my question and asked where the installation file was – so I simply ended the session and uninstalled the product on my own and did a pre installation system restore to make sure all files and registry entries were removed.

There were no other softwares running at the time of the update and no conflicts with other security programs since Norton was all I had installed. I loved the Norton product because if ran perfectly and was light on system resources and was going to purchase a license at the end of the trial period but when it fouled up during a routine update – I changed my mind. I’ve installed Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes and depend on Windows firewall for my protection now and have had no problems with any security issues. Perhaps later on I’ll retry Norton but for now I consider it “buggy” during updates though it might have been a one in a million incident and you will never have this type of problem.
