I don’t think you need an introduction about TechCrunch. It is popular like anything in our blogosphere. Liked the design of TechCrunch.com? or Always wanted to imitate it and become popular? Here’s a solution – CrunchTech is a WordPress theme which looks like design of TechCrunch.com

It does look basically like TechCrunch but not equipped with all the plugins or enhancements used by original one so, you will need to find such widgets to make it look 100% similar to it.
My Verdict : Very well try to imitate but a good one as its available for free download. Your customizations are always welcome.
