Unlock the feature to Create Multiple blogs with one WordPress installation
One of the most awaited features on the arrival of WordPress 3.0 was the possibility to create multiple blogs using the same installation of the CMS. However, in all the news, after upgrading the platform on my personal blog this option was not anywhere.
The fact is that for some reason, this option is hidden in the blog admin panel. To view it in the sidebar, we have to edit wp-config.php file located in the root directory of your wordpress installation and add the following line before the comment where it is said that let you can edit from this point:
This tells WordPress to show the options to start multiple blogs under one wordpress installation. Once you have saved the changes, we can access the ‘Network‘ situated in the ‘Tools‘ from the sidebar in the admin panel.
Once, you click Network tab, you are asked to deactivate all your plugins to begin installing “sites” on sub-domains using the wizard. It is recommended to take backup of your database before start playing with this feature.
