Windows has many special and hidden system folders which are generally not accessible to users directly. For instance we are not shown directly the temporary folders, temporary internet folders, computer history folder etc. There are other special folders like My Documents, My pictures, My Music etc. that are given as direct links so that it is accessible easily with out knowing their actual path. But if you want to know the know their paths and have access to many hidden system folder folders than Special Folders View will be helpful.

Special Folders View is a Portable windows freeware that can help you get list of all windows system and hidden folders. It is easy to use and has a very simple interface.

It provides information on folder name, folder is hidden or not, it is read only or has write permissions, it is a system folder or not and the path of the folder. Selecting a folder and right clicking it gives you additional options to create shortcut of folder on desktop, know CSIDL name etc. File paths can be saved in text or HTML file format.
