Is Blogsolute Dead? Bad Phase in Blogger’s Life

I know it has been a long time since our last update on Blogsolute.com and I feel sorry for this irregularity. This article is meant for letting you know why this happened and what I have been doing.

If you know, this site has been around for 7 years now (yup, a long relation indeed). I have been doing it passionately as a sole source of income since college days. Unfortunately, Life isn’t all about good things. Not to complain or brag about but I faced many challenges while doing so especially after Google Panda Update in March 2011. What this update did is brought down our search engine rankings which means lowered number of visitors to site and lower amount of earnings. I, along with Sourojit tried to understand this penalty from Google and rise up against. Not all the efforts went in vain but somehow we couldn’t see the expected improvements.

For those who want to know more: In association with Nishant from FilmyKeeday made a small video on this issue on behalf of all bloggers in similar situation.

No, I won’t say that we failed. Reason behind it will be published in next blog post.

Devastation led to Distraction

Though I wanted to write but I couldn’t. Simply because there was no motivation. Money is the biggest motivator and you cannot deny this fact. I mean how can I function or keep doing something without expecting anything in return. For a time being, that is fine but at certain age of life, I had to take make some firm decisions about career.

yes-blog

Distractions included trying out different things (of course to chase money): Domaining, Website flipping (buying and reselling), offering marketing services, selling on eBay, etc. Contact me if you want to want to know more nasty stuff on internet. Oh, forgot to mention, I did a part time job too as a lecturer and I realized that .

I received many emails and messages in the mean time complaining why there aren’t any new updates on Blogsolute. Some of them sounded rude too but that shows how much you love this site.

Irregularity is pretty much justified, I hope. And feel guilty for it.

Somewhere, something was still missing. That was satisfaction.

I wanted to go back to where I belong. Blogging. Writing and expressing myself offers me an inner pleasure. That’s the reason, I made a decision to resume.

what am I doing now…

Resurrection follows Devastation

While trying different techniques of Internet marketing, I mastered got a good hold on some of them to build a working business model and attain a stable source of income. So, I can now concentrate and write here distraction-free, I contacted agenciesranked.com the site which is currently helping me with SEO services.

One more thing which has changed: we operate from a small office. This not only helps me get out of comfort zone of home but also helps in disciplined work schedule. This is my first post from my laptop on office desk. Smile

So, I conclude here with a promise to you and myself that I will continue to write and you will get regular new posts from Blogsolute. It is not about only money anymore but more than that. Peace of mind, self satisfaction to have a platform to express myself and a place to have conversation with you.

Loving Back

I consider myself lucky to get back to what I love and hope you too will show your love for me, for Blogsolute as you did.

Thanks for being connected and giving your valuable time for reading this.

    Thank you Aditya.
I never posted personal stuff or in other words avoided to publish them publicly.
But considering the personal messages and requests, I thought why not share it with everyone what exactly went wrong and how can we make it right. 🙂

I am not just targeting search engines this time.
If we continue to do the same as we did, we cannot expect different results.

You will notice changes in the genre of post writing. Hope I succeed in making them engaging.

Welcome back bro..

I’ve seen many top bloggers in the period of around 2009 have been vanished because of panda and penguin algorithm.

Very few survived and happy to see you one among them:)
